Caring is our deal. : a co-creation of Peita and SafetyLAB

A special edition is coming to talk about health and safety at work. “ Caring is our deal. ” is a co-creation with psychologist Juliana Bley for SafetyLAB Festival, a 100% online event with lectures on engagement, collaboration, learning design, human factors and risk management. Did you like it? The phrase is already available here on the site.

“My quest, as well as that of thousands of professionals dedicated to health and safety at work, is to bring to the debate the de-objectification of bodies, dignity and respect for the limits of people who work within companies. Human life is worth more than a machine, this is the only way we can reduce the physical and psychological suffering associated with work, which seems to only grow and grow in the face of exploitation and pressure”, says the project’s creator, Juliana Bley.

About the choice of phrase, Ju explains that “from the angle of SafetyLAB, we want to activate reflection on the personal and collective responsibility of taking care of the lives of people who work in factories, mostly men, with enormous difficulty in taking care of themselves, with shame and prejudice in caring for others and receiving care, and at the same time extremely exposed to a reality that generates very strong impacts on their health and integrity, physical and mental. I want to work so that the phrase reaches people who have a genuine connection with this call and who can disseminate and provoke the "system" to stop talking about care in all dimensions of the production process”.
