On Friday, the 27th, the program starts at 4 pm, in Boca Maldita, with shows by women artists, artistic interventions, slam, feminist block, in addition to speeches and information on sexual and reproductive rights. of the people who are there. On the 28th, the percussive project Baque Mulher, together with the festival's organization, will promote a chat, yoga and maracatu, within the Escola Community in Parolin, starting at 1:30 pm. The entire event is being organized by women.
Cultural activities are an invitation for women to learn more about their rights. Both in the square and in the school community, there will be psychologists and lawyers explaining what to do in cases of sexual violence, where to go and how to get a legal abortion, permitted by law, in cases of rape, risk of mother's death and anencephalic fetuses .
The actions are part of the call of the National Front for the Legalization of Abortion, made during the 3rd National Plenary held in August, in Brasília. The proposal is for social movements to mobilize on the Latin American and Caribbean Day for the Struggle for the Decriminalization of Abortion and include the date in the calendar of struggles for women's rights. São Paulo, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis and other cities in Brazil will have activities on these dates.
