Fight for a memory: a Chest and Phosphate collab

When we talk about memory, what images come to your mind? What feelings do these memories awaken in you? Are there photographic records of these moments or do you mentally store them and evoke them when you want?

Photographs are outsourced memories. Clippings of life that we choose to save externally in jpeg, png or photo paper files.

We keep the images of Peita's first appearance, on March 8, 2017, with great affection. They transport us back to that day and remind us of the emotion it is to march alongside thousands of women who share a mutual desire to change the world and overthrow patriarchy. That's why we insist on registering and participating in the #8M actions in Curitiba, the city where we are located.

We know that not all acts of resistance are immortalized in photographs. The feminist revolution will not be transmitted in the traditional press, but your photo in the demonstration, in street actions, in collective meetings, acting in networks will remain for the history of the movement. Remembering is resisting.

It was thinking about the power that photography has to tell stories that Peita sealed the puta collab with Phosfato , a club of signatures of photos printed on photographic paper. A new campaign is launched every quarter, with envelopes and thematic products and from October to December we are united in Lute por um Memória , because remembering is resisting.

( • ) HOW DOES A PHOTO SUBSCRIPTION CLUB WORK?

It's very simple. You choose one of the plans and packages offered by Phosfato and monthly you receive photos printed on photographic paper in an envelope that becomes a picture frame at your home. In the coming months, the visual identity is all worked on at #putapeita and will be full of outrageous pampering.

And where do they get the pictures from? You send them through the website or application and also register your social networks so that they can be pulled from there. The selection is surprising, but it is possible to indicate which ones you would like to receive, put captions and dates on the photographs.

In addition to the signature club, the collab has exclusive products from the phrase “Fight for a memory.” available at the Phosphato store . It has a photo album, papertalks and an ecobag.
