Minutes after confirming our victory against fascism at the polls on October 30, 2022, PEITA launched its new phrase "Your vote changed everything" in a special edition in green and yellow for the 2022 Football World Cup.
Your vote changed everything.
Quoting Cirene Candido in his text for Portal Catarinas , "in the fight for democracy, the people who went to the polls cast not only the vote, but the hope of continuing to have choices: to walk freely in the streets, to express joy or discontent, to guarantee rights to our bodies.
In recent years, we've lost rights, we've lost family members to the mismanagement of Covid, colleagues and friends to feminicide, we've seen hunger spread like an epidemic. In the face of everything we've been through, I leave my thanks to those who, despite fear, clothed hope. Realizing these codes of resistance warmed me up, freed me from the bitterness of the setback, offered warmth and freedom to those who will live and rebuild (with everyone else) a new Brazil. Today I know I'm not alone."
We have changed to a president who is committed to doing better than he has already done. The only one to remove Brazil from the United Nations Hunger Map in 2014. A reality that has color and gender: peripheral black women (who in most cases are solely responsible for providing for their homes).

A new phrase is launched in a special green and yellow edition.
When we talk about the Football World Cup, our biggest motivation will always be the Women's National Team. But this year is different, right?! This Cup is controversial and full of meanings (both for Brazil and for the controversial host country of the World Cup).
In this Cup, we are going to cheer knowing that 2023 will start in our favor, with the certainty that we have broken with authoritarianism and returned to a democratic State that is sensitive to its people.
We know that there is much to restore, redeem and conquer. Let's keep fighting and vigilant. We keep fighting .
Thank you, your vote changed everything.
