Peita seleciona ilustradoras

Peita selects illustrators

Each Chest that arrives at its destination is a link we create with people we don't know. As if each delivery created an invisible web that departs from Curitiba towards other cities, to possible encounters. We feel that we connect unknown people who recognize each other's chest when they pass each other on the street, exchange glances of confidence in the subway or at the bus stop. We know we're together!

We receive daily messages from women telling us the context in which they use their CHESTS to face our everyday machismo. Many open their chests, show their guts when sharing super intimate events, such as cases of abuse, violence and harassment. We have received complaints from sexist scumbags (which we insist on exposing) and there are also wonderful ones who give our sincere phrases as a gift to friends, seeking to encourage them to continue fighting.

Thinking about these reports, we decided to create a new project: a zine with the stories we received, illustrated by manas responsa. This zine will add weight to the 'kit' we send to those who purchase their BREAST.

And where is this pussy?

We have the stories, but we still don't have partner illustrators. Therefore, we want to meet mines that are interested in being part of this project with us.

We challenge something different every day. We believe that our prints give strength to the sisters in the most varied contexts. In this first moment, we are asking you to send us a cartoon with the motto: 'the breast that illustrates your life' and create a dialogue between this and other phrases of ours.

Initially, we will select 10 artworks and we will give each artist a bribe, we will publish their drawings on our blog and social networks and we will start the dialogue about the partnership for the zine project. Were you interested? Then send it to us:

- cartoon created for the campaign "Which chest illustrates your life" ?
- mini-description of you and your work;
- links where you can see your art.

We will receive works until September 14th at puta@peita.me with the subject "Puta Ilustradora".
