You've already learned here on the putablog how to drill holes in walls without fear of hitting pipes and the time has come to hang the PEITA poster , already framed, with that motivating and provocative phrase, perfect to give even more strength to your days. When arriving at the store's screw section, that question arises: which bushing to buy ?
Mari Pavan, from Agiliza Lab , explained everything in her painting “ Do like a girl. ” on PEITA's IGTV .
( • ) YOURE GONNA NEED IT
To drill your wall and make everything very firm, have at hand:
:: a drill;
:: a drill, which goes into the mouth of the drill and is the one who makes the hole for you;
:: a bushing, to put on the wall and who receives the screw;
:: a screw, to support or hold the object.
( • ) TYPES OF BUSHING
Bushings are the plastic pieces, usually gray, that go inside the hole made by the drill and receive the screw. Its function is to 'hold on' to the wall, which can be hollow or solid. There are specific bushings for different types of walls and you only find out which one is yours by drilling.
( - ) Which bushing to use?

:: common loofah - solid walls and bricks.
:: bushing for hollow brick - guess what, it's for hollow brick.
:: universal bushing - the solution to your problems, it works both for hollow walls and solid walls.
MARI ALERT ! The bushing size must be the same as the screw. The number is written on the parts.
( • ) WHICH SCREW AND BUSHING NUMBER TO CHOOSE?
The size of the screw and bushing depends on the weight they need to support. Mari gave us this table from Agiliza Lab , with the average of how many kilos each bushing can hold.
Generally, when you buy a hanging piece, it already comes with the bushings indicated for that specific load.
EXTRA TIP FROM MARI!
Hollow bricks have a lower resistance, so it is not recommended to hang very heavy things, such as hammocks and the like.
